Will main website be banned?

Hi,

I am testing cloaking for the first time in one of mini sites that sends links to my main site. Since I know that this mini site could be banned for using cloaking, could that ban drag my main linked website? So, what I need to know is if SE will ban only the site using cloaking or all sites linked to it?

I have known many people to use cloaking and only the site that is cloaking gets banned, if this even happens. One logical reason for not banning the linked site is that if people wanted to harm a competitors listings, they could setup a cloaked site, direct it to a competitor, report it and get the competitor in trouble and delisted. So based on what I have seen they only go after the site you are actually cloaking.

Simply put, the answer is NO. The site that the cloaked network is linking to is in no harm at this time for being flagged or banned. Only the site empowering the cloaking methods or script will be flagged/banned.
