affilate cloaking

I recently uploaded a bunch of links which I'd cloaked in hexadecimal code using one of the many programs available designed for the purpose. (And yes, I know thry're not foolproof - that's not my beef here).

The affiliate link pages are in frames and are set so that it's my domain that appears in the surfer's window when the merchant's affiliate/product page is loaded.

A few days after these pages were uploaded, Google turns up as usual to visit my site (actually, he'd been pretty late). A day later, my PR starts fluctuating between it's established PR3 and PRO. This continues for 24 hours or so.

Today, it seems to be consistently PR0 on all but a few very minor pages, which have PR1.

Have I upset Google with these framed affilate link pages?

Yes, Google has mentioned automatically checking for this kind of thing, with deprecatory intent.
