I have lost all my cloaked listings for the latest update..However I don't think my domain has been banned as it has appeared in the update.

Why did you think it might have something to do with Cloaking?

Probably just paranoid because I've only been using cloaking for around 3 months and I'm quite new to SEO. I hope it has nothing to do with cloaking, what do you think?

I've dropped 9 cloaked sites which have been top of SERPs for months. They were xlinked and 5 of them had <noarchive>

The other non-cloaked sites in my network are all ok

Two of my cloaked sites in Google have experienced many pages being dropped (but not gone... just dropped ranking wise). Each site has about 30 pages. Still getting referrals from Google for some pages from those sites. The main page of each site has not had any PageRank penalties lately. One site uses noarchive tags and the other doesn't. I'm wondering if the cloaked pages are just too much alike.

Is it possible they looked at <noarchive> cloaked sites, applied a serious penalty to some (but not banned them), and also had a look at what sites were linked to the cloaaked sites?

I saw I really rise in cloaked sites. serps relevant to my industry have been flooded with cloaked sites. It really makes you think human editors could do some good... Doubt Google is willing to pay out, though.

I dont know that cloaking was the reason for upward movement. The sites make use of many tricks some old some new.The more legit reason could be more links even if some are not on topic. It makes you think sometimes that google is too focused on its pagerank system and link pop.You have to look really hard to find ANY content in these sites they go straight to affiliates.
I really dont think I am complaining about cloaking or tricks, just struggling with keeping my sites "straight" (no spam to my knowledge) or? At this point in time it appears spam = $$$$$$ Straight = $.

Of course thats why I came over to the cloaking forum after getting beat up by cloaked sites. Looking for scrips and how to use them.
Joking GG.
