Faking User Agent

Can someone please tell me how I can fake a user agent (pose as a spider) to test a cloaking script? I cannot find any information.

diecipher, you can also use a personal proxy agent like Junk busters or my favorite Proxomitron
[proxomitron.cjb.net]

Proxomitron sets in between your browser and the website. It can do all sorts of filter of web pages (nuke css, javascript, graphics, popups, bad html, all http headers, expires, agent, ect).
