Hi Can anyone define just what a cookie cutter is?
Also can anyone emligten me on the subject of cache busting - a time/date stamp or
random number generating tag to defeat proxy caching. Any help on this would be much appreciated

Thanks

No sure if this is what you mean (or do you mean browser cookies?);
Well I would define cookie cutter as something designed to be easily replicated, maybe some of the ingredients can change but the framework stays pretty much the same.

Again not sure if this is what you are after on cache busting but check This Thread [webmasterworld.com] out.

Thanks Air

It's just a term I heard and didn't know. Thanks for the thread reference - just what I was looking for :)
