I am unable to generate organic SEO

I started my blog in Dec 2019. Since then I have published more than 30 high-quality articles of around 1500 words on average. I get around 6k-7k page views every month and almost all of them are through referral traffic and social media. I am unable to get any organic traffic.

On top of it, my Adsense account is only giving me $ 1.5/RPM. I am just trying to understand where my strategy is falling short. Is it because, I am getting most referral and social media traffic, I am getting low RPM rates? And even after 3-4 months my organic traffic is only about 150 visitors per month.

Any suggestions here will be very helpful.

Three options:

a) nobody cares about your topic
b) your site is technically wrong regarding SEO
c) your content is interesting and you're doing SEO properly but five million people is doing the same thing, and nobody can see you in the middle of the forest

Regarding Adsense, $1,5 is not a bad number nowadays.

Unfortunately, your results sound quite typical. The days of big earnings for everyone from AdSense are long gone, see the monthly AdSense threads: [webmasterworld.com...]

Welcome to WebmasterWorld abby2978!

I recommend you to switch from the half-empty glass view to the half-full glass view.

You started a blog three months ago and already have 7k pageviews per month and earn a $1.5 RPM with AdSense with only 30 medium-sized pages on your site. That is actually quite an accomplishment nowadays. Unless the site has been picked up by some large authority sites or is about a truly unique subject, I don't expect any significant organic traffic to such a small new site in this stage of the process.

almost all of them are through referral traffic and social media
And this is a problem because...? Some people dream of the day they can turn their back on search engines and make a living off nothing but direct human links.

@abby2978 .... Welcome to Webmasterworld!

You aren't doing anything wrong, your expectations are set too high.

Few make any real revenue on adsense these days. That myth of secret riches on the web exploded more than a few years back. HOWEVER, one can produce GOOD revenue that will cover expenses for the SITE, and a bit left over ... it is the "left over" that can only become INCOME if the site goes viral, is unique in a special way, and gets a boost from authoritative or influential externals ... and I don't mean the web.

Word of mouth, news media, Hollywood, etc will be the break point where revenue v costs comes REAL INCOME.

Meanwhile, half the folks at WW would kill for a buck fifty.

Keep doing what you are doing, Just give it time. AND BE FRESH AND UNIQUE with each and every page (that's hard to do!).

Good luck!

i guess the OP has gone!

however for future reference ... if the 6K-7K page views per month are actual real human traffic, that is astonishingly good for a site a few months old.
