Blogger blog -- will changing it to a domain hurt it?

Scared...

So I have a blogger blog with sort of a dumb address.

I bought a nice .org domain to change it over to, I went through all the DNS steps, but freaked out when my SEO tool bar showed all the PA/DA/PR GONE....

I know it's unlikely adding a domain and redirecting the blogger domain to the domain would affect anything, but I want to make sure.

I want to make sure doing this will have zero affect on my search rankings and the blog's PR/PA/DA.

Any thoughts?

Everything will work out ok if you have done your redirects properly.

Thanks, yeah. I have to set up Wordpress and there's a plugin that does the transfer. I'm scared to death of ruining the blog, though I think I can revert it back to a Blogger blog and use the old links any time.

I'm just worried about the smoothness of the process and if there's any risk of losing link juice.

Just redirect your old blog address to new domain address properly then you will receive all traffic and Yes, your PR, PA, DA will gone and you will get new PA,DA and PR (If Updated) for your new domain.

Easier said than done...I switched from an html site to all CMS on the same domain...did all 301's properly yet the site traffic and conversions collapsed...it's been 6 months and no improvement.
