Ask Jeeves enters the PPC and Contextual Advertising Market

Looks as if AJ launched their AJInteractive division [sp.ask.com] that they had mentioned at their booth in New Orleans.

Seems they are offering email marketing [maxonline.com], search results marketing (on AJ and the various properties they own) and what appears to be a "higher level" contextual advertising program [maxonline.com]. I say higher level based on the "traffic options" listed on the publisher application [maxonline.com].

Most of the information on the AJInteractive site is via pdf and a bit cloudy as of yet, IMHO. The MaxOnline site [maxonline.com] is also very short on information as well.

Uhm, there were so many buzzwords on the MaxOnline site that I'm buzzed!

Has anyone tried them? To what degree of success?

I was going to give it a shot till i read the contract they sent me, along with expected revenue.
