What's directhit.com?

I was checking my site's listing in MSN search, and i noticed there was a link there to "see the 10 most popular sites" for that topic. I tried it and it took me to [directhit.com...]

This seems to be another spider-based engine; it accepts URL submissions. I hadn't heard of it before.

Anyone here has any experiences with Direct Hit?

You're right, Direct Hit is a crawler based engine. It's ranking algo. is based on clickthrough popularity, among other factors.

Direct Hit provides results for the following engines:
MSN - option
Ask Jeeves
Lycos - some
Iwon - some
