I seem to have a load of pages from the mid-June crawl appearing, very nicely positioned as well, so I'm happy.
For example, having the word, "Lolita" in your web site can do wonders for traffic.
According to your stats, what is the quality of the keywords that are bringing in all of these visitors?
I have very good positions in AskJeeves/Teoma but the traffic is the same as always. That's why I am curious as to the quality of the keywords that your visitors are using to find you.
It is an information site with lots of pages, they are getting what they want - looks like mainly 3-4 word keyphrases so there are less paid results and ads for people to get through before reaching me.
I guess you could argue that it is low quality traffic as I am unlikely to make much cash, but I am more interested in getting the traffic for now!
I do have another site that ranks pretty well on a fairly competitive keyword but brings me virtually no traffic, for free traffic I consider AskJeeves to be similar to MSN results, you need to be picking up the long uncompetitive keyphrases where there is less advertising to get much free traffic.
The have been 181 different keyphrases that people have used from ask today, and over 200 pages where the HTTP_REFERER was from ask, but that will include some back buttons to the entry pages. So I have certainly had 181 unique referrals today.
Actually looking more closely, I have a UK based site and most of the referals are from ask.co.uk - I believe they are more popular here than elsewhere.

You're right. They are more popular in the UK. That explains our disparity in results.
It's a different situation over here. Despite the fact that their headquarters are just over the bridge from where I live, there isn't much activity in terms of referrals. I attribute it to their smaller share of eyeballs here in the US.
Congratulations, you're doing something very right! Any other UK-ers feeling the love?

All his sites have returned from not listed, so they must have changed the database it back to how is was before.
