- does ask still review sites submitted via [e-mail] / [e-mail]?

I assume these would be the sites that get listed in the top pull down boxes - underneath the paid for listings (below the dotted line).

The answer is that it is still possible, but instead of submitting via the add url, would suggest hunting down links, that rank high in teoma, around a related subject matter of your site. This should slowly get you in, but patience has to be a virtue via this method, can take along time.

We got in this way - took about 3 months. Was worth it though, the end result is better than a paid listing.

Thanks for your response. We do feature on normal Ask results - but was wondering about the Pull down "I have an answer for you" boxes. Within these pull-down boxes, the top listings are those sites paying on a CPC model. However the bottom half (those below the dotted ----- line) are editorial content - i.e. they've put it there as they think it answers the question and is of high quality (no charge to site) - or so they say. I was thinking that by submitting to [e-mail] - we might end up in some of these places for free. Pull down boxes seem to appear mainly on the .co.uk version - so this may only apply to the uk site.
