If you have a good program for site submission, use it daily; submitting one page at a time to avoid being accused of spamming the search engines. Make sure though, that all of your links to your other pages are on each page that you submit. The search engines will spider your pages enabling your site to rank even higher.
there are many threads on this forum about automated submission and even the software developers of the kind of software you are talking about even warned me on saturday what effects it could have on you site.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld if no one has done it already.
Yahoo is a directory and as such submissions are asessed by an actual person. It has long been considered that bombarding Yahoo will only cause them to get the hump with you. They are very strict as to what you have to have in place to be accepted.
I suspect you are getting a little muddled up with whether the results are Yahoo or Google driven. It is a changeable issue at the moment so it is not clear.

we were able to achieve #1 out of 1,020,000!
I never said, but well done on this point.
Cheers
A complete fallacy, I'm afraid!
I have numerous top listings on Yahoo and last submitted these sites in 1999.
So, I could say not using web site submission software on a daily basis helps your rankings on Yahoo! Fact is, if you are included in a major directory such as Yahoo or ODP you will be included in all the major crawling SEs in due course with no further submissions needed.
