Yahoo Adds RSS Feeds For Finance Stories

RSS formats get a major boost.

ResearchBuzz [researchbuzz.com] is running a story on Yahoo adding RSS feeds for finance stories. That is the first time a major portal has endorsed the RSS format for web services. I can't help but notice it comes just a few days after Google introduced a competing news service.

No More RSS feeds from Yahoo, at least for now.

According to the service, it was an experiment/proof of concept.

Enter any ticker symbol and the following is returned.

[rss.finance.yahoo.com...]

"Thanks for testing our proof of concept RSS feeds!"
"Our RSS test is over. We appreciate all the feedback"
