Hi,

Just finishing off a e-commerce site for a client, and am beggining to talk to them seriously about web promotion, they are in the UK (if that makes any difference) and i need to know before i get them to shovel out another 299, whether or not they will get in, im confident its a good move for them once they are in, and ive got a site in free before, but i dont want to be seen wasting anyones money...

any thoughts?

So far touch wood :) I've not had any sites rejected, site descriptions pulled completely apart yes and I've never had any real results in getting that over turned.

So just check for the obvious things, different browsers, no dead links, good contact information and you should be ok

Thanks, im sure they wouldnt be impressed if they were to pay $299 not to then get in...

Would you say a yahoo listing is a good thing for a smallish e-commerce site...? some say wow - go for it, some are less bothered...not sure who to believe..yahoo has done good things for many other sites (non commercial tho) ive done...

I think the $299 is a great investment. Even though Yahoo seem to be going downhill they still send a lot of traffic if you can get a good listing. I would give it a try.
