My logs have shown 3 pure 'yahoo' hits as of yesterday...and I've no listing there...

Well now I'm seeing them. And a lot of them as the referer, where previously they would be google.yahoo.com referers. And on sites where I have never had any yahoo listing.

I cannot duplicate it. I can go to the page and it looks like the old SERP, clicking 'web page matches' goes to google.yahoo.com.

The referer in my logs is a pure yahoo match (search.yahoo.com) And I don't think that this is a matter of the browser leaking what is in the address bar either.

Anybody else see this in their logs?

I've been getting about 50-100 of these a day for over a month now, I see no particular increase recently.

You might be seeing what has been discussed here:

as well as here:

As Conrad points out, Yahoo sets a cookie on some browsers that will show these results so when you try to check them yourself, they won't appear.

I don't know why I hadn't noticed it before. I went back and now I can see them dating back to July 29.

They're rare. So it's a cookie thing, according to Conard's post.
