Yahoo used to have a general humor category for India. They then started splitting it up into multiple categories of jokes with a couple of sites in them. This hurt big time as we lost about 100+ visitors a day. I submitted my site under the categories, even though they are a part of the site and do not have the main domain (all the sites in the new sub categories are sub-domains / personal pages).
Here's what I saw in my logs

My question is:
Now that I know that the site has been reviewed, do I get to find out if it was accepted or not? Or do I just wait around and resubmit with some additional comments later?
You can also check the What's New section at [dir.yahoo.com...] for the date of review and you should see your site listed there if accepted - this is also handy for seeing the description that has been written before it actually appears in the main directory.
I think it could be difficult to get a second listing so close to your existing one in the structure. You may have more success if you could find a category in a different topical area that fits your site well.
