I am seeing some major changes in some of my results as well. Went from bottom of the second page to the top of the first.

The site also just went from a PR0 to a PR3 so more and more I am beginning to believe that PR is a major factor in Yahoo's rankings.

Dr Cool, but if a yahoo listing is a major factor in Google PR as is the common and well-justified belief, this is circular reasoning!

It is circular reasoning but it works. I have seen quite a few different instances of this.

From Yahoo's point of view it gives them an outside validation that the site is a good site. It gives them something more than title, descripiton, URL, and category to rank sites without having to develop their own algorithm. From Google's point of view it gives them a human reviewed source to find good sites without having to rely only on an algorithm.

I think Term Vector from Google also has a part in the Yahoo ranking equation (for the SERPS).
