Yahoo = 1:59:58
Google = 0:40:18

Maybe because it's so much easier to find things on Google, you don't have to spend as much time?

And all the time it takes to sort out all the advertising from the good stuff on Yahoo.

Total PR spin there. I think Google has more users. And less time the better to find what you want, make searching quicker! Perhaps they are getting ready to raise the price for the Microsoft buy out [webmasterworld.com].

I wonder if the yahoo stats include things like the "games" and "chat" areas where people are likely to spend much more time?

Also there an entry for Yahoo search alone: 0:09:41
Contrast that with Google search alone: 0:40:18
