Secondly-I hope Martininbuster can give me some information on how you determine your PR on Google?
Really appreciate the help-thanks
However, like anything else you need to do some homework. To maximize the traffic potential you really need to put some thought behind the copywrite of the description so to target not just directory results but the search engine "web sites and pages" as well. Good copy also means a better chance of the editor accepting your listing "as is".
Targeting the wrong phrases is the difference between getting your $300 worth and a lost leader.
Note: If you have a Dmoz.org listing already for the page it is best to use this. The more precise, duplicate listings you have also means the more relevant you become with metacrawlers top listing for which Yahoo results are often used.
You have to have a UK site to get into Yahoo UK for free though. You can also still suggest a second category, which is a nice way to get a site listed in the main Yahoo non-regional hierarchy, in addition to the UK regional listing.
<snip> offers such service...never tried, let me know if its worth it.

If you are using a PC, just download and install the Google toolbar. It will show page rank on a horizontal bar. To see a specific number, hover the cursor over the bar, and a number will pop up.
If you are on a Mac, there are no options, unfortunately.
