The $299 is for the websites section... webpages is currently provided by google...

You probably just don't show up very well for the search term your trying... try searching by your company name.

Im not sure what your asking quite but theres two way in to yahoo that im aware of

Getting in to Google Which provides results for yahoo.

Or paying the $299 to get in to the yahoo directory.

In my view you need to be in both yahoos website results and in the yahoo directory

Google is only guarnteed to serve results for yahoo untill september i think.
Then it may or may not be there results.

hi bails,

Isn't your company name the title that Yahoo gave you? Are you saying that there are terms in your Yahoo listing that you are not showing up when you search? You will only show up under keyword searches if those actual words are used in your title, description, URL, and possibly category of your Yahoo listing. Sorry if you already know this.

Also... if it's a brand new listing it could take a few days for it to propogate through the system

This is the best advice you'll ever hear about a Yahoo listing: give it some time.

I had a site that was listed in January. For weeks I got nothing, then when it settled in early March I was suddenly #1 for my target keyword. This doesn't mean you'll end up first, of course, but you really don't know where you stand for at least a couple months.

If you aren't appearing at all, it's probably the time issue that others have mentioned. If there are hundreds of listings that include the same keywords in their titles, it could also be that their listings ended up better optimized for your search words. If you are searching on your exact site name and seeing nothing, though, it's almost certainly a database propagtion issue that will go away soon.
