Is it by IP? What if you changed your IP and then clicked again?

Are you talking about clicking on the search results for better ranking? If so, there is an ongoing debate on if that has an value. It hasn't been proven one way or another that I have seen, just feelings by different webmasters on what is influencing the rankings when other factors are counted out.

But yes, I think a different IP would work if you are thinking about influencing the results (if that is possible, may just be a waste of time)

It *is* possible.

I was doing it for about two weeks (actually got a #2 position) and then nothing.

As for the amount of time I spent figuring out how long to wait, where to click, what to click, when not to click...
