The Site was submitted on 6/10 and anyone thats interested I will keep this updated with information.
Something that did put an smile on my face, on the submit page after all the details ie site, client, credit card the conditions page came up twice, just to remind me that this is only for yahoo to look at the site and does not guarantee indexing :), do you think their trying to tell me something
7 days and counting.
I'd say relax about it, you've got no worries.
From my experience, Yahoo BizEx is not capricious in any way about taking your money and then turning down a site.
I've had no problems at all with client sites to date -- whereas the free submission has been nearly hopeless for some time. Might as well hire a witch to cast spells.
You'll LOVE the traffic.
A different site I submitted on September 6th, has yet to be added.
For reference the site types.
The site submitted on October 2nd, was a shopping site with around 50 pages.
The site submitted on September 6th was a site promoting a supplier of industrial products with 8 pages.
I am somewhat surpised that the one site was listed so fast using the free submit, eight days, one day out of the 7 day payed for period.
I have serveral theories but would be interested in others thoughts.

thanks for the interest, overhall very happy with experence, took around 5 days to look at the site and confirm that it was aceptable to them (phew).
The directory listing are to say the least great :). the site is in 4 categories, all at the top. I don't really think I could ask for anything better than that. Also the other keywords for the client have now been picked up by google so he's showing very nicley there as well.
Just while we are on the subject of google, I submitted the main URL only and most of my doorways have been collected but some keywords (the ones I really wanted ranked) have not, how would you go about submitting them, as I don't want to upset the apple cart by re-submitting the URL agian, should I just re-submit the doorway alone or wait?
Traffic so far is up by 25% this month, but as the listing with yahoo only showed up last week next month maybe a better indication.
I have been in the past, quite nervous about telling clients to pay, but after this I have no worries about it, in fact a client has just instructed me to produce a new site for his company and do the marketing I told him about the business express route and he was quite happy to take my advice and pay :), just one thought, this site's going to be a flash site with a non flash site alternative as well, any thoughts on how yahoo view this.
thanks for help.
BTW, I notice you mentioned listing in four categories. I thought Yahoo! used to limit sites to two categories only?
Does paying for submission allow you some latitude with the two-cat limit? 8)
