Hello all,
I am thinking of buying a keword-laden-domain-name and placing it yahoo for that search term.
Do i have just as much of a chance to place high with .net as .com? .com is taken so i guess .net is the next best option? any advice is welcome..

I have a few .net sites that are ranked very well in yahoo... in all cases I'm actually ahead of the site with the same name but .com

I see no difference as far as yahoo is concerned.

I don't think you need 2 hosting accounts.

Also, lately I've seen .biz and .info ranking very well in Yahoo.

.net, .com, .org, .biz, .info - .whatever-you-wanna

I personally have seen many sites ranked high in yahoo/google with these domains. I personally would try to get a .com/.net/.org first before a .biz or .info . Just my preference. Although I think they would all act the same. As for hosting. I personally would suggest, getting a reseller account, which will allow you to have one account, one monthly payment for a low price, and a lot of features. It is simple, if you are interested I would check out [techidentity.net ]. They have great accounts, and support. And a great price. Also, if you want an account custom made, they will do that for you. Best of luck to you. And, grab the domain before its gone :) I hate when I used to want a domain, and it was avaliable, and when I turned around to grab my credit card, and come back, it was then taken. Thats the DOMAIN GAME :)
