What is the difference between the 2? Can you control which one you end up in?
Thanks

Web sites results is from the Yahoo! directory of sites, and Yahoo Web Pages results is from Google's database.

websites = Yahoo Directory Results
webpages = Google Results

If your a commercial website you'll probably need to pay to get in the directory results..

JamesR is right, websites do generally bring more traffic than the webpages soley because Y! Web Sites only search the title/description of what the Y! editor allowed to be listed. Many people find their sites listed without any description making it useless to be listed in the directory.

Yahoo Webpages uses Google to search so it really searches the web :)

Not to mention that many parts of the Yahoo directory database are sadly outdated. I know of at least one site that is still listed after being dead for over 2 years.

www.asia.yahoo.com

Free for now and if accepted, will propagate to the primary.

It was mentioned in the forum a couple of months back. Submitted to and accepted in 4 categories. (one was regional and took just over 5 weeks).

An assumption - propagate to the primary. I can't see much value in Yahoo maintaining proprietary listings in regionals and excluding the primary.

But haven't seen these listings appear there yet.
