YAHOO serps in USA don't show Google results

Unless you hit the "web page" button. Is this new?

Did I miss this, has yahoo always shown preference to it's paid directory over Google results or is this new?

yes, they have always promoted their directory above other results. To get Google results directly from a search, you must do a search for words hardly or not found at all in the Yahoo directory.

No, no.
1>When you do a search, ALL the results are Yahoo directory.
2>Google serps are EXCLUDED.

3>In the Yahoo serp, you'll see the following links:
Summary ¦ Categories ¦ Web Sites ¦ Web Pages ¦ News ¦ Research Documents

You need to hit "Web Pages" to see the Google results.

I believe that this google exclusion is new. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Still get Google results for backup, don't notice a difference in presenting the results but i don't use Yahoo that often either.

Always been like that. The only way the google results show first is when you type terms that are not found in yahoo's directory listings.
