How can we know ?

Hi All,

Just wonder how can I know which search terms is the most popular in Yahoo ?

For example, we can check what is popular at Overture.com. It might not be the same search term people using in Yahoo right ?

The short answer is you can't. Overture data includes their partners incl yahoo, I assume, so should be fairly close.

You can in a round about way see how popular your particular search terms are. If you go to sign up for the sponsored site listings (http://sponsorlistings.yahoo.com) they will give you some traffic information about how much it will cost to be listed as their "sponsored site" in the category listings. They will include the number of searches performed (at least they used to do this).

If my site is a sponsored listing, do you think it will list higher when people search for a common term like "marketing" ?
