I was about to submit a regional non US, non UK site (i.e. Greek-related content) to yahoo.com and pay the $300. However, I' ve noticed that if you submit to uk.yahoo.com you just pay $200 only once.
I have also noticed that the regional (non US, non UK) listings of yahoo.com and uk.yahoo.com are identical. Does that mean that if I am accepted at uk.yahoo.com under, for example,

Regional>Greece>Services>MyWebSite

I will also be listed at yahoo.com?

Thanks in advance

I got a regional US site into Yahoo Asia free and it now shows up in yahoo.com.

Cool. I'll try that and let everyone know what happens.

It is not $200, but £200. That's about $285.

But it is a one off payment (for the moment), however they may reject your site if it is not UK based.

Hey Everyone,

This stratagy also worked well for me, I submitted my site throught yahoo Ireland & UK and got listed for free. Doing so also got me one yahoo, I submitted once to the UK directory vrs numereous times via the us yahoo.

Hope this helps other webmasters to get there sites listed in yahoo for free.

Cheers,

I agree, hutchins13. Submitted my site (the english version / .com) to yahoo asia last saturday and right now i received the confirmation:

"Hi,
The URL you suggested <url:http://my.example.com> has been added to Yahoo! Asia. It also has been added to Yahoo!."

Not bad!
