searches in yahoo with and without the "s" ie dog and dogs give completely different results for my keyword and only one website appears in the 1st page on both searches (both times in the #3spot).
most of the websites have used metatags with and without the "s" so how did the one site keep in both searches?

is this regular Yahoo or google.yahoo?

does this site have the plural and/or singular in the URL, title or description?

this is Google.yahoo

they have plural only in description but not title.
hmm but on inspecting the URL I see that they are :

www.mysite.com/dog/dogs.html
and www.mysite.com/dog.html
ie two seperate pages .

I guess it must be there PR rank on both pages that puts them in top 3 of plural and singular.

google.yahoo ranks with a tweaked version of the Google algo. therefore, on page criteria counts and not merely the title, description, and URL like regular Yahoo.
