Those that are just noticing, your Yahoo personal preferences on my.yahoo have been reset. They have be set to "yes" for all the spam, email, snail, and other marketing tieins.

If your level of spam skyrockets, you can thank Yahoo.

You can set them back by logging into your my.yahoo account and taking the "edit my marketing preferences" link and unchecking the options.

Hi,

Iīve been using that "auto-responder revenge" for some time. I have one pop3 account that I canīt even open, so I remember giving them some of their own medicine.
I guess many of them removed my email from their databases :))

Bye,

Nuno Oliveira

that autoresponder sounds like a great idea. those who really want you can just reply back to the new email address you give, and email list builders im sure dont got to the trouble of actually reading these. Thanks hadn't thought of that.

This may be Yahoo's answer to get people to upgrade their mailboxes. The spam increase will throw a lot of people over the top of their free box allowance.

I wish there was a way I could disable the bulk mail feature.
