My client wants me to register their existing site with Yahoo now. I'm working on a new edition of this site which will carry the same website address as the current site when complete. When the new site replaces the previous one will this create any problems with Yahoo. It will be a paid listing.

I would say don't submit an unfinished site or a site about to be redone until the work is complete. However, if you do submit now you should still be crawled regularly, however, you'll have to make sure you description fits the new site.

Yeah Jane, if at all possible wait until the new site is finished/redesigned before you submit the URL to yahoo. It is almost impossible to change a listing once it is placed within the directory so you want to have your strategy as tight and thought out as possible before submitting. You may find that things come up during the redesign that will effect your yahoo submission strategy (that you had no way of anticipating before hand).
