I've been trying to connect Yahoo for the last 20 minutes or so. I keep getting a 404. It also doesn't seem to be working from other parts of Sothern California either.

Anyone else experiencing this?

You gave me my giggle for the day Key_Master ... good one! Can't say as I disagree except for all the money I've paid them for my listings! If they go down for good, I would feel robbed.

Down in the Britsh Virgin Islands too!

Even while they were down the "page not found" still had a PR10... ahh to have that kind of clout huh?

Yahoo, maybe got knocked down for a minute there but hey, I think they are going to be players for a lonngggg time. :) Could be better nowadays, maybe a little less ads, but on the whole gotta give em a *little* credit :)

News.com has an article titled Software glitch blocks Yahoo access
[news.com.com]. Aparently Yahoo says some customers were locked out of some areas of the service Tuesday because of a software error.

Don't you guys have anything other to do than track how long Yahoo's site is down for? :)

1Lit,

When you are making money from a web site that is in Yahoo, you are going to watch how long the site is down for.

You must be getting a LOT of traffic from them, then. I don't worry too much whether their site was down for two minutes or four minutes.

These things happen on the net.

If you are pulling alot visitors an hour converting a decent percentage of them, you are going to watch this and notice that the site is down.

It is a bit different from your site being down for ten minutes and only one person noticing...there are millions of people using the site and trying to access it, using the site as a means of commerce.
