Hi all,

Just wondering about this option in Yahoo UK:

"My business is located in the UK or I am a private customer residing within the EU.
or
My business is located outside of the UK or I am a private customer residing outside of the EU."

Are they trying to find out about VAT issues or what is the purpose behind it. Is it not mostly businesses that would use the paid submit option anyway or who would be classified as a "private customers"? Sorry if I'm missing something here, it just doesn't seem very clear.

Thanks!

I don't think its a VAT thing.

Probably just a 'are you really entitled to be in the UK Yahoo or not' question.

Can't say I've ever tried answering it as non-UK, though.

It's still a bit ambiguous. The site I was submitting is an Irish site, so are they including Ireland in the UK? If so, they should really specify "the UK and Ireland" as they do in the Yahoo directory. Och well!!
