Yahoo disables back button!

Never noticed this before - how rude!!!

Geeze I hate that! I was doing a search on Google and the third listing was a directory listing on Yahoo. I clicked on it and was trapped ... couldn't go back to Google.

What a class act. NOT!!!

Weird. I've never seen that.

I just tried the same search, went to Yahoo and then hit back ... and it worked this time? I don't know if it was a glitch or what happened, but I couldn't reproduce the same thing. Sorry about that.

The search phrase on Google was, power boat charters bvi

Could it have been because of a Popup?
Did you get a popup the first time?
Or maybe you opened something in a new window? (that can reset the history in some browsers).

Yes I did get a pop up the first time Brett ... but didn't think anything of it. I didn't know they could prevent you from going back.

One more reason to really despise those things!
