Long Domains in yahoo

yahoo spammy??

i dont know if any ones noticed but searching in yahoo only brings up sites with the search term in the url. thas ok for one dash names but not for those horiffic long 5 dash domains it makes yahoo look spammy.

I agree. They've been doing this for a while. Not much to do about it, but join 'em :)

I've seen it work fairly well in some cases, other times, it's best to have that 'name brand' appeal to your domain name, and rely on the description to get that click thru.

Planet Ocean recommended doing that in their news letter awhile ago after many were having success with it. Spam out Yahoo while you have the chance...they don't care about the quality of their directory so don't feel bad if you don't either.
