I hope that somebody can help me on this one...
i have couple of sites that got listed in yahoo like in end of october and start of nov., I got the yahoo listing conformation saying that the site has been listed, but when we actually type in the site name in the search box it gives me results saying "Powered by Google" on the top right corner!
This has not happned to only one site but couple of my sites that i am monitoring, is there someone who can help me on this one, or is it something that i am missing out on Yahoo..
Thanks a ton in advance :)

I'm having the same result when I check on several of my listings. They have all been there for awhile, and they are all in the directory. They just don't show up on a search.
It appears to be happening with some categories but not others.
I don't know if that helps, but it may be of some comfort to know you're not alone. :)
I emailed the editors that accepted the sites, with the confirmation letter attached, and kindly mentioned that something had happened to the sites I paid for.
In all cases (except one), the sites were added or re-added. I guess they were fixing some categories and had some glitches.
So my suggestion: email the editor back and request for your site to be added, and explain that when you type in the domain, your site appears but it's coming from Google, not the Yahoo directory (believe it or not some editors don't seem to know the difference).
Good luck!
The following are the daily Yahoo numbers for a site that while in the directory can no longer be found by typing the URL in the search. The first five were prior to Overture and still searchable. The next five are after and returning Google results if entered into the search.

I wrote them and they responded back in about three days telling me I could find it if I drilled down seven layers in the right sequence, and scrolled down to the middle of the 117 listed on the page.
I'm not even sure how the 20-30 we get a day are finding us.
We have other sites listed that if the URL is typed into the search return the Yahoo description, rather than Google.
I sent off a second email today but am afraid that I'll get the "Only one reconsideration" reply, which seems standard.
