Interesting discovery about the Goto Listings

I'm one of those guys that still can't call it Overture

I was poking around Yahoo looking at my top terms to see what the impact of this Goto crap is for me. I figured I might as well look at some of the sites that are now 'Sponsored'. I clicked the link, looked at the site and then hit the back button. On a whim I hit refresh and the SERP came back up without the Goto listings - just straight Yahoo results.

I must also say that the biggest loss has got to be the demise of the 'Most Popular' list. :(

Interesting. My first SERP didn't have them. On subsequent refreshes, they appear about half the time. Backend problems with the goto injection, or purposely rotating them in/out?

They disappeared on the SERP I checked as well......

From the news reports that I have read, it sounds like the GoTo listings won't be fully implemented for awhile. That's exactly what I am seeing... some searches have the GoTo listings... some don't.

Can anyone tell me a search phrase to see the Goto results -coz I searched for some popular terms but can't see any results.

Try "wooden toys" and look at the "Sponsor Matches" just above the directory listings.

Ok - now I see it after the SERPs we have to click on first the category matches that only we can see it- I thought it was displayed on the main SERPS page once we key in the search for that phrase.
