Yahoo and NING

are they related now?

the traffic comes from a verified Yahoo IP

they took robots.txt with the Slurp UA, and now they keep pounding my website with the "NING/1.0" user agent, making GET and HEAD requests on my homepage

does anyone know what's this all about?

Thanks for pointing out NING. Hadn't heard of it before. Not impressed by what I read on their site. :(

I have about 8 hits for it from the yahoo bot range this month, all from US IP ranges.
