Emailing me?

I have a question to ask so to abate my fear.I just submitted a URL via biz ex.Had it confirmed by receiving a ID number at the end of submission.Usually they will email you spontaneously once succesfully submitted right?
That's what I got the previous day when I submitted. But now there's no email respondent to me notifying me the confirmation of receiving the info.Is this normal or should I wait a little while longer.It's been 2 hrs since I submitted- I checked I keyed in the right email too.

Was your credit card charged? That would give you an answer if they received it or not..

Yeap it did charge it to my credit card & gave me an ID number at the end of submission.I'm worried -- do you think that they blocked my email coz I replied thanks to an editor for a biz express ? I just wrote thanks in the email.I'm damm worried.I submitted just one site a day before & it got listed just within 3 days.Any advise?

zechariah, not to worry! They get too many submissions to have editors respond to the credit card payments. It was undoubtedly an auto-responder response you received, and if you responded to that it would not have reached an editor. Auto-responders are not interactive.

If your credit card was charged, then I'd wait until Monday afternoon (business day) and then write a polite email. Make it honest and inquisitive.

Tell them the last time you submitted an url, you received an email confirmation, and you didn't this time, and was there a problem with the submission? Tell them your credit card was charged, and give them your id number.

After, all, you are not mad, just concerned.

I wouldn't panic, sometimes systems hiccup and e-mails that are supposed to happen, just don't. It could be any number of things. I wouldn't be worried.

And I have sent thank you's to editors. They actually appreciate someone being nice to them instead of someone writing in to whine about a listing.

Hi guys I just emailed the editor which I last received the confirmation of listing of my site - Or should I email it to another email address. Hope for a reply just emailed him a moment ago.

It's now been 7 days & I haven't heard a word from yahoo editors about my listings.they said 7 biz days -- are there still 2 days to go becoz of the weekends.

actually, i just did a biz ex last week & had been waiting for my acceptance email - but it never came! (i did get the order confirmation though) But the site did get listed within 10 days - they just neglected to tell me. weird.

Still not listed but will wait & thanks skiguide for the post to at least know yahoo glitches.Will keep you all posted if I get listed within the next day.

Ah, fianlly all the fretting -I got in they send me a listing email for success of indexing..THanks for all your other experience -yahoo does have system hiccups --- but I still never got my autorespondent confirmation of submission email...thanks anyway for all u guys.
