Is it time to block Slurp?

In order to reduce load and save bandwidth - I'm considering blocking Slurp. Is this premature? anyone blocked Slurp yet?

With Yahoo! Search Powered by Bing™ - why is Slurp still in operation?

I've been wondering that, but I think it's either yahoo covering itself against a bing conflict or they are researching. I'd be interested to know for sure.

Don't if you are getting good traffic & conversion. I think it may be harmful to your site/blog.
