Today Yahoo! Search is launching the first in a series of search enhancements that will bring you more news and more entertainment in one place. You saw a preview of some of these features last month – today we are rolling them out with even more updates that build on Yahoo!’s recent contextual search innovations such as the “Infinite Browse” module on Yahoo! News.
We’re creating a search experience that, instead of merely presenting you with a simple list of results, lets you discover important, relevant information and get things done right after you search.
For example, when you search for a movie or a touring musician, you can buy movie or concert tickets for local venues from the search results page, or use our QuickApp for Netflix to put movies in your Netflix queue.
