We just happened to spend few hours today to research on our competitors link building and found Y directory is flooded with massive SPAM as well.
We happened to find huge number of sites, which only has 1 landing page and linkback to several other external links (maybe to sell PR).
Many sites which lead to advertisements (adsense for domains)
Many sites, which auto-redirect to other sites.
