name appearing on yahoo messanger

why does my name show when im not on line?

I would like to know why it is that my name shows on Yahoo messanger even tho i am off line or am in the invisible mode, this is causeing alot of problems for me and i am not receiveing off line messages due to this. Please help if you can.

and Welcome to Webmaster World, although I wonder if you are in the right place. These Fora are about Search Engine Submission and this particular Forum mis about the Yahoo Directory. Unfortunately it is not about any of the additional products Yahoo offers such as Yahoo Messenger so I am not sure anyone here will be able to help you unless they use it themselves.
