A friend of mine has a website which is relevant to my website. it is a PR4 and on the right of every page on his website he has 4 relevant outbound links one of which are mine.
my problem is that yahoo has found my link (using the link: search to test) but it has linked it from a deep page which has no PR rather than the main page which is PR4.
although its a valid link my site is not getting the PR4 link juice which i was hoping for.
ALL the other 3 outbound links on every page listed with mine on my friends site all have their backlink listed in yahoo from the MAIN page with the PR4. So in turn are receiving the link juice from the higher PR home page of the site.
e.g. their link was descovered on www.domain.com with a pr4
mine has been discovered under www.domain.com/otherpage.html which isnt ranked by google.
my question is will yahoo discover my link on the main PR4 page too like the other 3? or as yahoo has now found a backlink to my site it will no longer list any more from this site.
