Spamming Blogs for Top Yahoo Rankings

I am seeing tons of sites spamming blogs with their links and ranking very well in Yahoo!

a good example, frightenly so. spots 1,2,3,4 and 5 for some money terms and total spam. Here is highlighted the yahoo signature where sites are banned for life for exchnaging some links while its happy hour 24/7 for the true spam. Scratch head times.

What strikes me though is the similarity between google and yahoo. Micro filters are killing grey hat sites while macro spam flourishes. I have come to the point where i wonder if the two things are linked. can the way micro fliters are implemented mean macro fliters cant do their job?

what do you think of it.yahoo.com? Seems like the index are more updated than yahoo.com when I checked the link: and site: query . Before the next update, does yahoo test it on a certain datacenter - so from that datacenter we can tell how the next update will look like?

Well guys looks like your wish came true, as im seeing those splogs loosing rankings rapidly (atleast from what Ive seen in Yahoo). I noticing that there still indexed but rankings have dropped along with there profits :) . Yahoo has answered your calls! happy now?
