Hi

I am hoping that some kind person out there will help - PLEASE

I submitted a site to Yahoo UK and Ireland using Business Express on the 11 July. Yet to date I haven't heard a thing! No review - NOTHING.

I received the auto-response email telling me that the site would be reviewed within 7 working days and giving my my receipt/order number confirmation.

My credit card was debited the $199 ok

I have tried emailing them but the only email address I could find was uk-url-support@yahoo-inc.com (There is no email given in the auto-response email you receive from Yahoo!) However again NO RESPONSE!

Can someone help and tell me what to do?

Many thanks

Kevin

Welcome to WmW kjedwards,

>There is no email given in the auto-response email you receive from Yahoo!

It's got to have come from somewhere, have you tried hitting reply and emailing them that way.

Alternatively give them a call.

Hi

Do you know where to call the UK and Ireland Directory?

Yahoo! is great at hiding such information - I have been all over their site and yet to discover a telephone number, of course I could have been looking in all the wrong places.

Thanks

Kevin

Kjedwards,

Are you sure that you submitted to the UK and Ireland directory as you mention $199 US dollars, and not the UK price which is different and in pounds sterling.

Double check but it may be that you have submitted to the yahoo.com express service. Furthermore, if you have not read the terms and conditions - READ THEM.

It could be that yahoo is inidated with listing requests, so they may just be overworked, however it's $199 dollars spent, so find out fast where you have submitted too, then start the chasing.

Hi

No it was UK and Ireland - the cost is the same.

I managed to find a telephone number for Yahoo - 020 7808 4200

I spoke to someone there who didn't sound too pleased, but promised to check and phone me back within the hour. That was 2 hours ago.

I will keep you posted.

Kevin
PS By the way there are some weird things with the Yahoo UK and Ireland site! First their 'Add A Site' is down. I also noticed that the 'help' link at the bottom of the Search Results (under their copyright notice) points to - [eur.help.yahoo.com...]
