My stats show that accesses coming from Yahoo and MSN are only 10% of the ones coming from Google. It has always been this way and I'd like to know why and how I could change this.

Thanks for enlightening me :)

Is it possible that for your subject matter more people use Google than Yahoo or MSN?

I think that there are certain 'user profiles' for people that use the three search engines, and while G generally gets the most traffic, for some areas that I watch, across multiple websites, Google is extremely dominant.

Just an idea.

Sleidia: Compare your SERPs placement on all 3 engines for your best keywords.
That is a major major factor. THEN factor in the general popularity of the engines. -Larry

Thanks guys :)

I did test my keywords in the 3 SEs (Google Yahoo and MSN) and my site came number one on all of them.

Does it only mean that mostly Google users look for me? (webdesign business)

No other explanation?

Cheers

There you have it.

FYI - msn and y own around 30% of all searches, just so happens in your area it is prolly like .000001 % :)

....yeah the industry, but also Yahoo sucks (but really!) and MSN is still a beta engine.
