Hi, I am new to this forum, but noticed it on Google while trying to find a solution for my problem.

Now, about a month ago I suddenly dropped in my yahoo positions. Last month Yahoo give us 300+ visits per day from different keywords and sub domains but now its dropped down my all positions and sub domains to almost zero and never show my any position in search. I've always been making link building (not spam, but relevant and natural links) on blogs, articles, press releases and such, because of that google giving me good response and increase my indexing and positions day by day

What can I do to recover my yahoo positions and what was that penalty?

There are a variety of reasons why sites don't do well on Yahoo versus Google. Part of the reason might be that, for better or worse, Yahoo ranks sites differently than Google. But that might not be your problem. Another issue is the originality of the content.

Returning to how Yahoo ranks sites, just my opinion, but it feels as if Yahoo does better with longer phrases than it does with shorter phrases. The shorter phrases tend to show safer guesses such as dot gov and edu sites, even if they're not so relevant. The algo relaxes a little more for longer phrases.

The top five seem to be the most intensively evaluated in Yahoo.
