Added RSS to my site.

When will it show in Yahoo Serps?

I added an RSS feed to my site about 3 months ago. Still not showing in the Yahoo serps with "Add to My Yahoo".

How long does this take?

its better if you do off page submissions for quick result for your RSS.

I ping the feed to yahoo manually. I have done this everytime I changed the RSS over the past 3 months. Still nothing.

It has also been subscribed to by folks using the MyYAhoo button on the homepage. Still nothing.

How long does Yahoo let stuff go before updating?

My suggestion is to keep changing your RSS feed on monthly basis. And do the off page submissions in various RSS reader. This will help your site to come in Yahoo SERPs.

How do you ping more often?

Erku,

To learn how to ping more often, read Yahoo's RSS submission page.

[publisher.yahoo.com...]

Also, when you ping using the api, remember to add a '/' at the end of the string. They don't tell you this, but leaving off the '/' may give you a refresh error.

You can ping as often as you like, but I have seen some warn against "ping spamming". So I would ping only as often as you update the feed.

Having said all that, as you can see from my original post, Yahoo still hasn't listed my feed in the serps; though, it DOES know the feed exists, and crawls it regularly.

Frustrating to see such staleness.
