Submission of absolutely new website to Yahoo directory

Is this OK to get PR6 link for new website from Google point of view?

Hi All,

I'm about to roll out freshly-built website and considering to start link development campaign from submitting it to Yahoo directory (appropriate category has PR6 and just about 10 OBLs at the moment).

The question is - will it help with getting better positioning in Google? Will Google count PR6 link for new website?

Anyone with recent experiences is welcome.
