WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YAHOO? Is Yahoo DEAD or what?

We are going on 4 months since they've done an update.

We are going on 4 months since they've done an update. They use to update monthly but now they seem to be pulling a Google. I guess they're trying to emulate Google so much they are going to start quarterly updates like G.

I know they are about to release an updated and new version of Yahoo [events.yahoo.com...] but come on, 4 MONTHS!

It looks like they haven't updated their backlinks to sites in this timeframe either. uhh..hmmm..Google..hmmm

I thought search engines liked fresh content. Well, so do searchers and SEO's.

Come on Yahoo get your act together and let's move forward. Is it going to take 2 quarters to revamp search to the (yawn) New Yahoo?
